My X6 arrived the other day and I noticed the suggested charging rate for the heli battery is 4.5A.
Everything I've seen about charging Li-Po's says to use a 1C charging rate. Since the heli Li-Po is rated at 2700mAh that means the charging rate should be 2.7A.
Could the higher charge rate being used explain why some folks are having battery problems?

I just found out something interesting regarding charging rates. Some of the newer packs can be charged at a 2C rate when connected to a balancer. I must have been reading some dated info.
Sorry if I caused any unnecessary excitement.
