Well, I did my training Monday and Tuesday last week and took my X6 home Tuesday evening. I ordered a X6, two Transmitters and the stills & HD video camera. No basestation. There are a couple of minor issues - the video camera came without manual or CD for instance, but both issues are in hand and the main bit does everything that it says on the tin. It has come with uprated motors. These give better lift and are about half the noise levels of the previous versions. It is so quiet, you wouldn't believe it. Software needs to be upgraded, but it's flyable without the upgrade. Landing gear has also changed slightly with the skids further forward. I guess, people had been planting the nose in a bit easily. Took it out on Friday and practiced a few lift-offs and landings. Absolutely fine, even with a small breeze giving me the odd buttock-clenching moment. Oh, and forgetting to switch to Barometric hold means it goes up..and up...and up until you realise. Happy bunny, here. Was told to put 20+ flights in before attaching a camera. Nah. As soon as the stills gymbal is replaced / repaired, it will be attached and off we go. I'll post my first pics up on my website as soon as, so watch this space. Andy
