greettings from israel, when flying in moderate wind conditions there is a loud tapping sound from the x6, seems as if a rotor is hitting a boom, in still conditions this doesnt happen, anyone else know about this?
Thank you

Thank you I'm getting it too from time to time even though I'm not pushing it as it's all new (and expensive). I also get it on GPS lock in moderate winds so it's not overzealous user input. Personally, I don't think that it is acceptable and is a design flaw. The Motors at the end of the boom need to extend more, or the rotors need to be stiffer. The end of one rotor is fraying already. Now, I have no idea if the two are related, but what else can it be? At the moment, A2A are saing it's the way that I fly it (aggressively is the word they use, even though I don't), but if I'm getting it on GPS lock, then that cannot be the case.

Its a problem with the rotor. One of my rotor had the same problem too but once I replaced it with the spare, the problem went away. And when I inspected the rotors, clearly the one with the problem is not as stiff as the others. Draganfly did ask me to send it back and they will replace it if it is indeed "out-of-spec".

I got new blades and they all did that. when the x6 is under load the lower blade bends upwards to carry the weight and there is too much flex in the blade. Cory told me that they know about that problem and he sent me a set of the old style blade until they get a stiffer new design blade.
