My video downlink signal starts to break up at not that much distance from the Tx (10's of feet). Is anyone else experiencing it? Am I expecting too much from a battery Powered video Tx?
I'm sure that the Microdrone video link is a lot more solid and I'd like to use it to beam to a multiscreen display at, e.g. a concert or other outdoor activity, but it just doesn't cut the ice at the moment.
Reading between the lines on this Forum, I get the impression that there is a better one available. can anyone confirm or deny this?

Pulsey, my first transmitter had the same problem though mine starts to break-up after about 20m or so.
But I had mine replaced by them and the new one is rock solid! superb range with no breakup at all. I have flown about 50m up and 80m away (thats as far as I have flown with the new Video Tx) and never once did it break-up! Im very happy with the update.

Kamarul in regards to the updated transmitter, is this located in the X6 itself or on the camera mount?

Its on the camera mount Craig. They say the range is 700 feet on the ground. Airborne, it has the potential to be much much more and up to about 2000 feet.
Not too shabby, but I have not tested it that far.

I too am having significant problems with the video Rx/Tx. At a range of 20m the link is only providing images intermittently for approx half the flight time. At 40m - 60m (in a clear field with no buildings, power cables etc to cause interference) it was absolutely hopeless. I'm going to try the range of channels to see if this will make a difference - anyone able to comment on this? - and then its back to the agent for a repair/replacement.
