I was in awe when I discovered the draganflyer website. Glad I found this site ,,hehehe.dont get me wrong, I like what I see in the product ,,but,,not sure if I like the wind limitations.. Does anyone use the drone for "wind turbine blade inspection", Inspecting rooftops for leaks,,FLIR..Hydro power line inspectiosn.? I will be using the drone for Photo /video..inspections. etc..there will be some shots I would like to take at the 800 to 1200 ft level...so..wind might limit me with this product. I have visited other drone sites,,,using windsocks to show a visual...on how these drones perform in wind conditions Any info appreciated Thanks Michael

The CAA might also have a word in your ear, too. In the UK you will only be allowed to fly to 400 feet. Inspection of turbine blades and Power lines. Even if stationary blades, I still think that you might have those fields to yourself! Too risky for me. Power lines interfering with Controller? No thanks. Good luck, though.

Hello Pulsey..thanks for the reply..Yes, I am aware of the altitude limitations..most of these shots willbe around mountains,,, out of the suburban area. I have seen videos of different setups using zoom cameras for inspecting highlines...As far as "wind turbine blades" many drone sites have this area as a perspective customer..I am new to this hehee, My main concern here is.....how many happy x6 customers are out there. I see the comments here ..soem are happy..some are not..I like the product,,but if I can do the same for half price , I will All infp appreciated
